Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead DIL Organization’s financial strategy and operations during a critical stage of growth. The CFO will partner closely with the Founder & CEO to build a world-class financial organization, lead fundraising efforts, establish investor-grade financial systems, and position the company for venture capital financing and long-term scalability.


Key Responsibilities


Financial Strategy

  • Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy.
  • Build and maintain three-to-five-year financial models.
  • Create annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Monitor burn rate and optimize capital allocation.
  • Develop key financial KPIs and dashboards for executive leadership.


Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Lead financial preparation for Pre-Seed, Seed, Series A, and future financing rounds.
  • Prepare investor financial packages, data rooms, and due diligence materials.
  • Support SAFE, equity, and venture financing transactions.
  • Build relationships with venture capital firms, institutional investors, family offices, strategic investors, and grant organizations.
  • Present financial performance during investor meetings.


Financial Operations

  • Establish accounting policies and financial controls.
  • Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, banking, and treasury management.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Manage audits and tax compliance.
  • Oversee financial risk management.


Strategic Growth

  • Develop pricing strategies and revenue forecasting models.
  • Analyze unit economics, customer acquisition costs (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), gross margins, and profitability.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments as the company grows.


Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
  • Support Board reporting and governance.
  • Assist with enterprise risk management.
  • Establish internal controls and financial policies.


Leadership

  • Build and lead the finance organization.
  • Recruit and mentor future finance team members.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, Operations, and Business Development teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA and/or CPA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Experience as a CFO, VP Finance, or senior finance executive at a venture-backed startup.
  • Strong understanding of venture capital financing, SAFE notes, cap tables, and fundraising.
  • Experience preparing companies for institutional investment.
  • Knowledge of SaaS, AI, digital health, or healthcare technology business models.
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.


Preferred Experience

  • HealthTech, AI, SaaS, Digital Health, or Enterprise Software.
  • Venture-backed startup experience from Pre-Seed through Series A/B.
  • Experience with healthcare reimbursement, enterprise SaaS metrics, and government grants.
  • Familiarity with financial tools such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Carta, Pulley, Excel, and FP&A platforms.

  • Build executive-level relationships with hospital systems, health systems, behavioral health providers, FQHCs, academic medical centers, employers, and government agencies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure pilot agreements, enterprise licensing opportunities, and strategic alliances.
  • Establish partnerships with EHR vendors, technology companies, health plans, and industry organizations.


Business Development & Enterprise Sales

  • Own enterprise sales strategy from lead generation through contract execution.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
  • Lead enterprise demonstrations, executive presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Develop scalable go-to-market strategies for new customer segments.


Revenue Growth

  • Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

The Implementation & Customer Success Manager will lead the end-to-end customer implementation process following contract execution. This role is responsible for project management, onboarding, training, stakeholder engagement, adoption, customer satisfaction, renewals, and expansion opportunities.

Key Responsibilities


Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead implementation projects from contract signature through successful go-live.

Customer Onboarding

Product Optimization

  • Gather customer feedback and communicate enhancement requests to Product and Engineering teams.

  • Collaborate with Clinical and Product teams on best practices.


Renewals & Growth

  • Develop strategies that drive customer retention and long-term success.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewals, additional licenses, and expansion into new departments or facilities.
  • Support enterprise account growth alongside the Business Development team.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Development, Clinical, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.
  • Coordinate technical resources during implementation.
  • Support pilot evaluations and customer success reporting.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, Health Informatics, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare implementation, customer success, healthcare consulting, or healthcare IT.
  • Experience implementing enterprise SaaS, digital health, AI, or healthcare technology platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
  • Experience working with hospitals, health systems, behavioral health organizations, or healthcare providers.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), MEDITECH, or other EHR systems.
  • Familiarity with HL7/FHIR interoperability and healthcare workflows.
  • Knowledge of behavioral healthcare and clinical operations.
